A Watered-Down Summer

My friends and I have found a productive way to have safe and fun and stay out of trouble. Although, my mom doesn't think it's safe. We headed to Ririe to go cliff jumping and climb down the falls in Swan Valley. Pretty much everyone fell in love with Idaho and especially Ririe. My roomates and I go riverboarding weekly. On another weekend, my friend Claudia(from my first BYUI semester, before my mission), one of her friends, Jen, and I went to Bear Lake(it really is that color in the pic). Here are the photos of some fun:

My Cool New Job!

After my two years at Chem-Dry, I have finally and oficially moved on to bigger and better. Thanks to the help of my engineer brothers, former employees of the company, Wade and James, I landed an office job at Interactive Rides, Inc. and SAE, Inc. (http://www.interactiverides.com/ http://www.sae-inc.com/) I love working here. All 15 or so of the all-male employees are really cool. It has good pay for a college job. They put me to work at a computer doing data entry and payroll stuff. Other times they send me running around town on errands. We are starting something new where we have every other Friday off, but the catch is we all have to do something together. ON the 14th of August, all the employees, their families, or dates are going to Lagoon, all expenses paid. Here are some of the rides the company has made, and my brother Wade had a hand in designing.

Life at USU

I am still at Utah State and loving it! I have gotten to know a lot of people and have established a lot of lasting relationships. I pretty much spend most of my time with many of the same students in all of my classes. I guess that is a good sign that I am starting to focus more on a certain study rather than aiming broadly which I am used to doing.

Time has taken a little longer than I have hoped when it comes to finishing school. I am currently a junior majoring in international business and minoring in Russian. I'm looking forward to working abroad soon, probably in Eastern Europe, as my major requires. So far, it feels like this is where I belong.

My roomates are all awesome, too! Most of them I have known for a while. One was my first roomate when I moved to Logan, and I work with his brother, another roomate, at Chem-Dry. My roomie roomate I have known for about a year, so it makes it easier to live with him. The other two are I come to know and way really cool to hang out with as well.

The weather is warming up, and it is a VERY welcoming sight! There has just been so much snow here in Logan, that it seemed to everyone that spring would never come.

I have recently picked up another job since Chem-Dry has slowed down during the winter months. I have been through training but will not actually work until March 3rd. It will be a fun job. It's actually a start-up marketing company intiated by a guy who is really excited, kind, and ethical in all he does. The Future is exciting!!!
